A Liberty and Co Arts and Crafts oak over mantle or hanging bookshelf, with Motto by Sir Francis Bacon :- 'READING MAKETH A FULL MAN'WRITING MAKETH AN EXACT MAN'. With a green bottle glass door to the upper right hand side and a long bookshelf to the left with a further adjustable shelf below.
The full quote wrote by Bacon back in the 1500's is actually "Reading makes a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man." I guess there's just not enough room for the whole quote :)
